For older kids this Syma RC helicopter is a good gift, especially to try our remote controlled toys. As you can see in the pictures we got the red colored version. We have a controller with a recharge-able battery. Plus we have a spare propeller. Note that, with full charge we can use it for about 5 minutes.

Overall this is a great tablet for general purpose use.

Details –

The Kindle Fire 7 inch tablet was a breeze to setup and to start using. The screen was good to look at and the tablet responded well. Although we did not intend to use the camera, I took some photos and as expected I was not impressed by the 2 MP camera. It showed amazon ads on lock screen. One can get it removed for additional fee, but we did not do it. The ads appeared only on the lock screen. Overall this is a great budget friendly tablet.

Overall this is a great gift for someone who takes several pills daily.

Details –

This 7 day AM/PM pill organizer is a great to keep pills organized. Many people, who take several pills everyday, can forget if they have taken a certain pill that day. The pill organizer can help avoid missing pills or taking extra pills. If the pill is not in the organizer, then it is taken and if it is in the organizer means it is yet to be taken. The cover is easy to open. I asked someone with arthritis to open this organizer and they said it is easy to open. This will be a nice gift to take to India.

In my opinion this nicely suits the purpose to distribute small packs of saffron, but California Prop 65 label is a concern.

Details

This pack of 12 clear containers is well suited to distribute small packs of saffron. As you can see in the photos with a quarter, these are little bit bigger than the quarter. Easy to open lids. The concern was that my packet came with a warning related to “California Prop 65”. You can read more about it on the wiki for California Prop 65. I read several articles and forums on this topic. Many people said that the note does not tell us if any specific item used . Also several people thought that many manufacturers add that label to cover themselves, irrespective of chemical used. In the end, I decided not to use these.

Update: I recently found our that 1g saffron packs are also available.

Overall this is a great gift for men. It’s unique fun design is eye catcher and a great conversation starter.

I have bought this half dollar wallet and I like it a lot. It is a very unique fun design. Lots of people notice the design. This also makes a great conversation starter.

Since it is listed as made from 100% polyethylene, I expect

outside designit to be very durable and water resistant. Size wise it is good and as you can see in one of the photo below, it can fit a $20 bill very easily.

It has two usable card slots and each of these slots I was able to add four cards. There are two more slots on the side, but I have not used them so far because I am afraid that any cards put there may easily slide out.
